Offering highlights God’s love for Arizona

Aug 25, 2016

amo_web_2016It is estimated that 5.4 million of the 6.7 million people who live in Arizona are unchurched and unsaved. That’s why the Arizona Mission Offering is so important.

“Through ministries supported by this offering, hundreds hear the gospel and come to know Christ,” said David Johnson, Arizona Southern Baptists’ executive director.

Gifts to the Arizona Mission Offering help support the ministries of Mission Partnerships, including Disaster Relief, Ministering to Pastors, Christian Challenge, Student Ministries, Planting Churches and Hispanic Ministries.

These ministries preach the gospel, make disciples and offer support to the needy, all in the name of the Lord.

With a goal of $150,000 this year, Johnson noted that if each of the more than 450 Arizona Southern Baptist churches gave $333 to the offering, the goal would be met.

Ultimately, though, it comes down to individuals who are faithful in giving.

For God so loved … Arizona. Do you love Arizona enough to reach your neighbors through the Arizona Mission Offering? Your prayers and gifts can extend your ministry opportunities to every corner of our state.
