Sixteen students at the Arizona Campus of Gateway Seminary graduated May 27 in commencement ceremonies led by Dallas Bivins, director of the Arizona Campus.

Jeff Iorg, president of Gateway, delivered the commencement address at the formal ceremony held at First Southern Baptist Church in Scottsdale.

The degrees and their recipients were:
Doctor of Ministry: Everett Hardee and Jim Stansberry
Master of Divinity: Chad Haynes, Mathew Ribeiro and Richard Grant
Master of Divinity with Church Planting Certificate: Robert Price and Jonathan Potts.
Master of Divinity with Concentration in Biblical Studies: James Delarato
Master of Arts in Educational Leadership: Carrie Larson
Master of Theological Studies: Cameron Ford, Michael Lin, Ruben Marrujo, Wade Orsini, Joey Sampaga and Faith Kwong

Several students were honored with special awards.

Wade Orsini received the Gateway Award in Preaching, which is awarded annually to a graduating student who excels in communication skills and preaching. Candidates may be from any Gateway campus, but Orsini stood out among them all.

Matthew Ribeiro received the Zondervan Award in Biblical Greek, which is granted annually to a graduating Gateway student in recognition of excellence in scholarship in New Testament Greek studies. Candidates may be from any campus. The award includes a presentation medal, a certificate, and a volume of choice from Zondervan Publishing.
