Billy Tallas
Billy and his wife, Brianna, moved back to Billy’s hometown in 2025 to replant Many Farms Baptist Church in the Navajo Nation. The church had been without a pastor for eight years. Billy was saved and baptized in this church as a teenager but was never discipled until he moved to Phoenix. Billy shares: “This is typical for the reservation — there are often mission teams and short-term pastors, but it lacks healthy churches who walk with people for the long haul.” Billy and Brianna are working to grow a healthy church focused on discipleship and long-term healing in a community marked by lots of pain and instability. The Tallases have two young sons, Tyndal and Theoden.
How to Pray
-
For another godly couple or godly man to help co-lead with the Tallases — a plurality of elders is the dream.
-
For more men to join the church — they desire to raise up godly men in a place where most believers are women and most of the men are addicts or abusive.
-
For unity in their small church and protection for their family.
