Arizona Baptists Serving at the ILC
ILC is the International Learning Center where prospective IMB missionaries are trained for their new assignments. While there, it is a time of reflection, education and challenge. IMB missionaries Carson and Noelle West* and James and Katherine Burks*, both families from Arizona, are serving at ILC. Carson and Noelle are trainers and help to connect missionaries with Southern Baptist churches; and the Burks, both RNs, are providing medical education and support to missionaries who come to the ILC for training and renewal. In 2023, approximately 350 adults and 137 children went through training at the ILC. The Wests are sent from The Church at Tubac in Tubac, Arizona. The Burks are sent from Wellspring Church in Avondale and Citypoint in Tempe.
