Jack & Rachel Thompson
Jack works to assist International Mission Board staff across Sub-Saharan Africa with bank transfers, expense reporting and taxes. He is getting to know the various rules and regulations of many countries and sometimes advises on tax filings and legal matters. It is his heart to ensure legal compliance, so that IMB staff have an open door to serve and share. He also supports the IMB logistics consultants, who face an intense workload providing for the practical needs of all field staff. Rachel has recently begun a role as team prayer advocate, which includes collecting and distributing field prayer requests and considering prayer strategies. The Thompsons have been on the field one year, are homeschooling their two daughters (ages 8 and 4) and have become Springbox Rugby fans! Their home church is First Southern Baptist Church at Sahuaro Ranch in Glendale.
