Chris & Amy
Chris and Amy serve as Area Directors of Send Relief for Sub-Saharan Africa. Send Relief is a collaboration between the International Mission Board and North American Mission Board for compassion ministry at home and abroad. Send Relief responds to crisis and strengthens vulnerable communities around the world by meeting physical and spiritual needs in Jesus’ name. In their role as Area Directors, Chris and Amy consult, train and facilitate disaster response activities and community development projects around the continent. Chris and Amy were sent out from First Southern Baptist Church, Phoenix, in 2001, under the leadership of Dr. David Johnson. They have 3 children.
How to Pray
- Over 85% of people in Sub-Sarahan Africa live on less than $5.50 per day. Pray they will trust God for their needs.
- For local churches to be bold in proclaiming the Gospel as they minister to the many physical needs around them.
- That Chris and Amy would have wisdom to be good stewards of the resources given.
- That God would provide personnel and partnerships to propel the work.
