Henry Phan
Henry serves with the International Mission Board as the western region (made up of eight western states) diaspora mobilization strategist. He works with the Diaspora Missions Collective, a collaboration of the International Mission Board, North American Mission Board, Send Relief, Woman’s Missionary Union, Executive Committee of the SBC, seminaries, state conventions and local associations. The Diaspora Missions Collective seeks to mobilize and equip North American churches to engage people groups globally and locally. (Diaspora means the movement, migration, settlement or scattering of people away from their indigenous homeland.) Henry works with local and diaspora churches to reach immigrants, refugees and international students with the gospel through vision casting and training. He and his wife, Thu, have a married daughter, Theresa, and a son, Tim. They serve at Vietnamese Christian Baptist Church in Phoenix.
How to Pray
- That God will draw many diaspora people groups to Him and more diaspora churches will be established in the western region.
- That God will grant Henry good health and Godly wisdom in his work.
