Pete & Susan Strupp
Pete and Susan, International Mission Board missionaries in southern Taiwan, are involved in various ministries from kids camps to English classes to adult Bible studies, as well as serving the local church on Sunday mornings. They enjoy this variety, as each activity provides the opportunity to introduce people to Christ and to help them grow in their relationship with Him. Their greatest joy is seeing believers become excited about the Bible and actively share what they are learning with others. Susan also serves as the affinity prayer strategist for the Asian Pacific Rim Peoples, helping produce prayer guides and prayer Zoom rooms for their work in Taiwan. Pete and Susan have been married 31 years and currently live in Kaohsiung. They have been with IMB since 1999. They are from Phoenix and have two married daughters who live in the Phoenix area. Their home church is NPHX Church (North Phoenix Baptist Church).
How to Pray
- For Pete and Susan to be faithful to constantly point people to Jesus, especially during times when fear runs high, such as during ghost month and when earthquakes come.
- For more lay leaders to come alongside pastors to help lessen their load. In Asian culture, people feel they need a degree before they are able to serve, but God can provide what they need to walk alongside other believers to read the Bible and pray.
- For Pete and Susan, as they head into their final year of IMB service, that they finish strong!
