Angel Oswood
Angel, an International Mission Board worker, partners with the Nigerian Baptist Convention in the progress of the gospel for not only Nigeria but for the world. She serves at one of the Baptist colleges of theology in Nigeria. Angel encourages the students to keep focused on the mission as they are trained at the college. Many of these pastors will serve in areas where there are unreached people groups. Angel also partners with Southern Baptists in doing Send Relief projects, such as widows’ empowerment businesses, relief aid after attacks or disasters, farm projects and at the college, a soybean project. Angel is single, with two cats and two dogs. Her parents live in Arizona, and she hopes to retire here some day.
How to Pray
- For the economy and security of the nation of Nigeria.
- For the Baptist colleges of theology as they train men and women to serve the Lord in very difficult places; that those they graduate will be well-trained, servant-hearted and mission-minded.
- For financial provision for the students and faculty of the Baptist colleges of theology.
- For the Send Relief projects being done, that they will be a tremendous blessing to those being served and a shining light for the gospel.
