Kyle Villa
Kyle is the Christian Challenge campus missionary at the Arizona State University Polytechnic campus in Mesa. This campus, which focuses mainly on engineering, is unique because of the types of students who attend. God has been working on students’ hearts in a way Kyle says he has not seen before. Many students have become interested in Christian Challenge because it is paired with Light in the Desert Church, which is close to the campus. Kyle and Christian Challenge are reaching ASU Poly by “tabling” on campus multiple times throughout the week and conducting two Christian Challenge communities (small group Bible studies), whose main goal is to teach students about the gospel. The ministry is growing, and it has been a blessing to see students want to know Christ and know more about Him.
How to Pray
- In order to foster a healthy ministry, Christian Challenge desires to reach men and women alike, but due to the nature of this particular campus, there is very little female presence in this Christian Challenge chapter. Pray that this chapter can encourage the one young lady attending to reach out to other female classmates with the gospel.
- To not grow complacent in sharing the gospel but to remain faithful.
- To evangelize and reach nonbelievers. This chapter is currently primarily made up of believers growing in Christ, but it desires to reach the lost as well.
