Zona Camp
Zona Camp, the Arizona Mission Network’s summer camp for youth, is held each summer at California Baptist University in Riverside. Middle and high school campers hear from Christian speakers, worship together and join in fun activities. In addition, attendees choose from four tracks: Zona University (where campers study theological topics taught by experts), Mission Life (where campers learn about missions and serve at churches in the Riverside area), Worship Catalyst (where campers practice music and learn how to lead in worship) and Impact (where campers interested in leadership learn evangelism and discipleship). In 2024, Zona was attended by over 1,000 people, including students and leaders representing 37 churches and camp staff comprised of college students (the Zona Crew), Christian Challenge campus missionaries and AZMN staff. Under the leadership of Eddy Pearson, AZMN evangelism and discipleship facilitator, and Chad Murrell, lead pastor of First Southern Baptist Church of Scottsdale, Zona Camp is one of the eight recipients of the Arizona Mission Offering. How to Pray
- That God will continue to open the door for more and more middle and high school students to come and hear the gospel and to grow in Christ.
- For the college students (Zona Crew), Christian Challenge campus missionaries and AZMN staff who faithfully and sacrificially serve each year at Zona Camp.
- For God to continue to call young people to the mission field and to ministry through their time at Zona Camp.
