Meet Arizona Missionaries

Eric & Brittany Gibbs

Eric and Brittany began Live Love Ministries in 2010 after answering God’s call to serve the Gila River Indian Community and the Tohono O’odham Nation in southern Arizona. They were commissioned as missionaries by the North American Mission Board and receive support from the Arizona Mission Network. From the beginning, their heart has been to reach people with the gospel and equip those they reach to become missionaries to their own communities and beyond. Through partnerships with churches, the addition of missionaries and the growth of Live Love Ministries, God has allowed them to see numerous people come to faith in Christ and begin being discipled. God continues to expand the reach of Live Love beyond the borders of the reservations. They work extensively with the refugee community in the Phoenix metro area and also have two schools and a ministry center in Malawi. They also have partnerships in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, as well as Cambodia, where the Gibbses’ daughter Ella serves as a missionary. The Live Love staff includes Julia Curtis, whose role includes teaching children, discipling teenage girls and leading Bible studies in some of the communities. In 2022, Jordan and Kayla Barton joined the Live Love staff, where their primary roles include administrative duties such as bookkeeping, planning and organizing.
