Kimberly Sandoval
Kimberly is new to Arizona and currently serves as the International Mission Board’s Next Gen missions recruiter in the West. She helps mobilize students and young adults (ages 15-29), often speaking at events on college campuses and meeting with students one-on-one. She is passionate about helping students and young adults seek God and use their gifts and talents for His glory on the mission field. In her work, she communicates the IMB pathways by helping resource and share information, as well as coach Next “Geners” on how to serve with the IMB overseas. Kimberly covers Arizona, California, Nevada, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Alaska, Hawaii, Utah, Montana and Wyoming. She is a fluent Spanish speaker, giving her a unique opportunity to share about the IMB with Hispanic young people. Kimberly is a member of Grace Baptist Church of Glendale (formerly Apollo Baptist Church).
How to Pray
- Having served with IMB for one year, for growth in the number of students she is able to interact with.
- For more students from the West to be called to go overseas as short-term or career missionaries.
- For Kimberly as she is away from family who live in the Midwest, and for strength and peace for her family back home.
- For many opportunities for Kimberly to speak to “second-generation” students for more ethnic churches to open the door for her to cast a vision for their young people about overseas missions opportunities.
