Church Revitalization
Churches have ups and downs, just as all of us do. When a church finds itself in a place where things are not going well, the Arizona Mission Network can help restore the health of a church through revitalization. Monty Patton, AZMN associate executive director, and Chad Garrison, lead pastor of Calvary Baptist Church in Lake Havasu City and AZMN pastoral coaching consultant, are giving coaching leadership through “Church Boom,” which works with pastors in revitalization cohorts. Church Boom helps pastors focus on their vision for their church, as well as its mission, core values and goals. From there, they develop strategies to equip their leadership teams. The ultimate goal in revitalizing a church is that more people will be exposed to the gospel, come to Christ and be discipled. Revitalizing churches is one of the eight ministry categories supported by the Arizona Mission Offering.
