Gateway Seminary - Arizona Campus
Gateway Seminary, headquartered in Ontario, California, is one of six Southern Baptist seminaries. The Arizona campus of Gateway Seminary, under the direction of Dr. Dallas Bivins, is one of five Gateway Seminary campuses. All Southern Baptist seminaries receive Cooperative Program dollars, thereby helping to make seminary training affordable to all Southern Baptists.
The International Mission Board requires all career missionaries to receive seminary training. This training teaches students to share the Gospel, preach more effectively because of the strong theological training they receive, plan and lead strategically and care for hurting people. Arizona Cooperative Program funding helps support the Arizona campus of Gateway, allowing students to gain theological training and serve in ministry simultaneously. In fall 2023, nearly half of all Gateway students received financial assistance totaling almost $60,000. These funds were made available through the Arizona Mission Network, local associations and local churches.
How to Pray
- Dr. Dallas Bivins, the Gateway Seminary Arizona campus and its students, as well as the other Gateway Seminary campuses.
- That Arizona Southern Baptists would give faithfully and sacrificially to support the work of our Arizona Gateway campus.
- That God would call men and women to be on mission, trained to take the Gospel to their neighborhoods and around the world.
