Mikal Hoodenpyle
Mikal Hoodenpyle is the Christian Challenge campus missionary at Arizona Christian University in Glendale. She is currently discipling five student leaders and helping them run their Challenge communities (small group Bible studies). Her Challenge group of students has participated in retreats, enjoyed hiking outings together and hosted game nights, all which have given them many opportunities to have gospel conversations as well as build community. Arizona Christian University is an accredited, private, nonprofit Christian liberal arts university. The university’s enrollment in 2024 was more than 5,100 students. First Southern Baptist Church at Sahuaro Ranch in Glendale is this Christian Challenge chapter’s partner church.
