Carson & Noelle West*
Carson and Noelle have been serving the past three years at the International Mission Board’s International Learning Center (ILC). Currently, they help missionaries on the field connect with churches in the United States. They help represent the IMB and the work in the Sub-Saharan Africa Affinity at various events and also help prepare missionaries headed to the field. This work in the U.S. will come to an end for them in 2025. They plan to head back overseas to work within the Sub Saharan African context, looking to reach Africans (most being Muslim) with the gospel of Jesus Christ. They will use their gifting of language and culture as a bridge to connect well, sharing their lives as they share the message of Christ. The Wests are a family of six — a college-age child, two high schoolers and an active first grader. Their sending church is The Church at Tubac in Tubac.
How to Pray
- That as they prepare to move back overseas their hearts will be calm and trusting. They have experienced much transition over the years and are leaning into the Lord’s strength.
- That the Lord directs their steps as to where to serve next. They love reaching the lost with the gospel and are waiting upon the Lord to make their next steps clear.
- Their hearts as parents, as their oldest will be staying behind in the U.S. Pray that she has peace as well and is surrounded by a good community.
